New Features:

Completely rewritten from the ground up.
Double-click a .000 or .001 file in the Finder, or drop it onto the Merger icon, and your files will be merged quickly and automatically.
Easy “automatic” drag-and-drop window in addition to the old file list.
File list supports drag & drop reordering.
Automatic update checking & installation thanks to the Sparkle framework.

Bugs Fixed:

There weren’t any to begin with, now hopefully we haven’t introduced any new ones.

gBrowser now automatically scrolls the Sidebar to ensure that newly selected items are visible.

Bugs Fixed:

Fixed a bug introduced in beta 23 where files moved or deleted form the Thumbnail Pane wouldn’t disappear.
Fixed a crash that could occur when changing the Sidebar file filter.
Fixed a bug that cause Sidebar folder/file counts to be incorrect.
Permanently rotating images no longer results in loss or alteration of filesystem metadata (like the file’s label or modification date).
Other minor bug fixes.

Added an option to the Application Preferences to hide gBrowser whenever it is no longer the active application.

Bugs Fixed:

Fixed a bug where filename case changes wouldn’t show up.
Fixed a bug where some invisible files would be visible.
Fixed a bug that would cause strange behavior after a rotating an image.
Fixed a bug where the Label menu item might display incorrectly.
Fixed an error that could occur when starting a slideshow when gBrowser was not the active application (ie. from the Services menu).

New Features:

Image Viewer will update if you switch back to a folder with a preexisting selection.
Folder names are still displayed when other file info is hidden.
Marks are still displayed when other file info is hidden.
Simplified hotkeys for Drop Locations: Command-# is now used for move (rather than Option-Command-#). Option-Command-# will now copy files to the Drop Location, and Control-Command-# will make aliases of the files in the Drop Location.
Altered Drop Locations menu so it now works more sensibly.
Improved efficiency when removing files from the Sidebar.
Improved efficiency in the file-tracking subsystem.

Bugs Fixed:

Selecting a batch rename preset from a menu works properly again.
Corrected odd behavior when rotating image files in the Thumbnail Pane.

New Features:

By default, the Sidebar can no longer take focus, similar to the simpler and less confusing behavior of Finder’s and Mail’s sidebars. This means no keyboard navigation, and main menu commands such as “Move to Trash” or “Duplicate” cannot affect selected files, etc. Don’t worry, the previous more advanced functionality can be enabled by checking the appropriate box in your Sidebar preferences!
Improved responsiveness after file move/copy/update.
Hopefully the Slideshow and Batch Rename services will appear more reliably after this update.
If a Slideshow service is started with just a single file, the slideshow will start with the full contents of that file’s parent folder.
Added option to Thumbnail Pane preferences to automatically select the first file when loading a folder.

Bugs Fixed:

Fixed a bug in minimizing the Sidebar by dragging it closed.

New Features:

Efficiency improvements in the file-tracking subsystem.
PDFs can now be dropped onto the gBrowser icon.
Images are removed from the slideshow when moved into a Drop Location.
Slideshow now displays current slide index next to filename.
Added “Slideshow” as an OS X service. Now in addition to the “Batch Rename” service, you can start slideshows in gBrowser from the selected files in the Finder via the contextual menu or Services menu (10.6 users might need to enable the Slideshow service in the Keyboard Shortcuts system preferences).

Fixed a bug in drag-and-drop to the Thumbnail Pane.
Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when viewing or sorting by image metadata.

New Features:

Improved “new slideshow” menu item behaviors. To decrease confusion, slideshow source is now solely based on Thumbnail Pane contents rather than Thumbnail Pane or Sidebar depending on which had focus.
Added option in Thumbnail Pane preferences to select the next file when you remove (by moving or deleting) the current selection.
Added option in application preferences to open browser window to an image’s parent folder when opening an image and no browser window is already open.
